Different Rooftops

Different Rooftops is a composition project that Bára worked on from early 2014 to the end of 2015 with the harvest of her debut album. The project is inspired by different cities' rooftops and now contains Rooftops of Barcelona, Rooftops of Berlin, Rooftops of Marrakech, Rooftops of Milan and Rooftops of Prague. The album features these pieces except for Rooftops of Berlin, that serves more as a visual piece. In addition to these, the album also contains I nostri dei sono morti IV, as a representative of another mini project of Bára's.
The pieces are for voice, double bass, tenor saxophone and electronics. The common thread of the Different Rooftops is a research on harmonics and multiphonics that interlace together in a braid of transparent layers.
